CAPE POINT & PENINSULA – Full Day Tour
Sun, sea and sand! World-renowned beaches, breathtaking views, historic and picturesque coastal villages, to say the least. This is a tour of just a little bit of everything. At Cape Point, part of the Cape Peninsula National Park, there are many drives, walks, picnic spots and a licensed restaurant. This is the point where the Atlantic and Indian oceans meet.
Tour commences at 09h00.
Travelling along the Atlantic Seaboard via Sea Point, Clifton, and Camps Bay, stopping at Llandudno lookout point and continuing to Hout Bay, a quaint village and fishing harbour with magnificent mountain views and beach.
Optional: Seal Island boat trip (seasonal, not incl. in cost).
On through Chapman’s Peak, a breathtaking coastal drive, to Cape Point and the Good Hope Nature Reserve, which has a wide variety of plant, bird and animal life.
After lunch at a nearby restaurant (not incl. in cost), we go on to Simon’s Town, a village with a naval base and a large penguin colony at the beautiful Boulders Beach. The tour ends at ±17h30 after a visit to the well- known Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens.
